Starry Night at Star

We’ve invited Jim McClaren, an astronomer, retired science teacher and current instructor at Regis College to help us navigate the evening sky. Let’s hope for a clear and starry night on the day of his visit.

But, should the weather not cooperate, fear not.  According to his former students at Newton South High School in Newton, MA, we’re in for a treat.  On a website where students rank their teachers, McClaren’s students were full of praise.   He is ‘interesting and fun,’ ‘extremely smart and very cool,’ ‘the best teacher ever’ and ‘so interesting and smart and just an awesome, awesome teacher.’  Expect it to be a fun evening with Jim, clear skies or not.
